Q: What is Tropic Mode?
A: Tropic Mode is an exclusive perk for Tropic Rewards® members. Make 2 qualifying purchases in a calendar month and unlock your choice of one reward, which will be valid for unlimited use through the end of the next month.
Q: How does Tropic Mode work?
A: Tropic Mode participants will receive an email and/or push notification when Tropic Mode is available. You will be able to track your progress in the Tropical Smoothie Cafe® app with real-time updates and email reminders.
Q: What is a “qualifying purchase” that will count as a visit towards Tropic Mode?
A: Qualifying purchases must be greater than $5 after any discount & the participant must identify themselves as a loyalty member with that transaction (by using their Tropic Rewards account to make the purchase in-cafe, via the app or online, or by scanning their receipt barcode after purchase).

Purchases must be made at least 60 minutes apart to qualify. Purchases that occur within the same hour will not count as multiple qualifying purchases. Only the first qualifying purchase will count toward unlocking Tropic Mode.

The same 60-minute rule applies scanning your receipt or entering the receipt code after your qualifying purchases. Receipts for two qualifying purchases that are made 60 minutes apart must be scanned or entered 60 minutes apart for that second scan or code entry to unlock Tropic Mode.

Excludes the purchase of gift cards and reloading of gift card balances. 
Q: I made a qualifying purchase of $5+. When will it show up on my Tropic Mode tracker in the app?
A: Your Tropic Mode tracker may not update right away. It can take up to 60 minutes after your scheduled pickup, delivery or receipt scan for us to confirm your qualifying purchase of $5+. Once your order is picked up or delivered and verified (with no cancellations), your Tropic Mode tracker will update to reflect your progress.
Q: How long do Tropic Mode participants have to use their rewards?
A: Your Tropic Mode reward expires at 11:59 p.m. ET on the expiration date listed in app.
Q: Can Tropic Mode participants use their rewards with other promotions or regular rewards?
A: No. Only one reward/offer per order--but you get to choose which reward to use when!
Q: What Tropic Mode Rewards are available for participants to choose from?
A: After unlocking Tropic Mode by making 2 qualifying purchases in a calendar month, participants have their choice of reward! You can choose the reward that works the best for them and what they order and would use the most.

Once selected, your reward is valid for unlimited use until the expiration date listed. You’ve never had a reward like this!

It will include a variety of reward options - each offering a discount that can be applied toward popular items like:
- Bowls
- Supplements
- Food items
- And more!
Q: After a participant unlocks Tropic Mode and chooses their reward, when will their reward be delivered?
A: Rewards should be delivered within minutes of selecting your Tropic Mode Reward; however, in the case of any unexpected delay, the reward will be delivered within 24 hrs.
Q: If a Tropic Mode participant has a Tropic Mode reward available for redemption & re-qualifies for Tropic Mode for the following month by making 2 qualifying purchases, when will they receive their next Tropic Mode reward?
A: You can only have one Tropic Mode reward at a time. Your next reward will be available starting the first day of the following month.
Q: After a Tropic Mode Reward is used, when can a participant expect to see it available in their digital wallet for their next use?
A: Members are able to redeem one reward per hour. The Tropic Mode Reward will be re-loaded one hour after use to enable ongoing, unlimited redemption until its expiration date.
Q: If a Tropic Mode participant does not choose their reward, what happens?
A: If a Tropic Mode participant does not select their reward within 7 days of being prompted, they will be defaulted to one of the Tropic Mode rewards, and it will be delivered to their account the following day.
Q: After a Tropic Mode participant selects their reward, can they change their mind and select a different reward?
A: No changes during the month once the reward is selected. If you re-qualify the next month, you can pick a different reward.
Q: What are the Tropic Mode terms & conditions? 
A: To unlock Tropic Mode, you must make two qualifying purchases of $5 or more using your Tropic Rewards® account between the first day of this calendar month and 11:59 p.m. ET on the last day of this calendar month. To qualify, purchases must be made using Tropic Rewards account in app or online via tropicalsmoothiecafe.com to order ahead for same-day pick-up or delivery, or by scanning app in-cafe at time of purchase, or by scanning receipt after purchase. Minimum purchase of $5 before tax, donations, and fees required for each purchase to qualify. Excludes the purchase of gift cards and reloading of gift card balances. No more than one qualifying purchase may be made within a 60-minute timeframe. Within 24 hours after your second qualifying purchase, you will receive an email with the date you can select your unlimited reward that can be redeemed multiple times through the expiration date listed in that email. You must select reward within 7 days of when your reward selection window opens. May take up to 24 hours after selection for reward to appear in your Tropic Rewards account. Reward subject to additional terms and conditions. Valid only at participating locations.

Rewards are valid for multiple redemptions until the expiration date shown in the app, but only one reward or offer may be applied per order. Rewards may not be redeemed more than once every 60 minutes; after each redemption, the reward will temporarily disappear and reappear in your account after 60 minutes. Rewards are valid only at participating locations and may not be combined with certain offers, discounts, other rewards, third-party services, or gift card purchases.
